CHIBA, Japan - Yetnayet Abebe (L), son of Ethiopian marathon legend Abebe Bikila (1932-1973), awards Yuki Kawauchi, the winner of the half-marathon race at the Chiba Aqualine Marathon, the Abebe Bikila Cup during an award ceremony in Kisarazu, Chiba Prefecture, on Oct. 19, 2014. He said marathon winner Abebe Bikila of Ethiopia ran some 100 meters outside the National Stadium in the same marathon uniform on the day after his marathon victory at the request of Ichikawa so that the Olympic flame could be filmed along with a running Abebe.
